You will research bridges and create a two page Tri-Fold brochure.  The brochure should include the history of bridges as well as the designs and types of bridges citing specific examples of each, compare the similarities and differences in the designs of bridges, explain the importance of bridges in their lives, and include any interesting facts they find along the way as well as 2-3 pictures.  Brochures can be hand written or typed.  Below is a template to create the brochure in Microsoft word.  If the brochure is hand written it must be NEAT!!!  Below are the requirements for the pages and a rubric.  Please be sure to take a look at the rubric before beginning your brochure.

Page 1: Title Page (Title of Brochure, Name,  Picture)

Page 2-6

• History of bridges
• Types of bridges with specific examples (refer back to webquest)
• Importance of Bridges
• Important information pertaining to the structure/design of bridges. refer back to webquest)
• 1-2 pictures (picture should not take more than 1/2 the page.
