Projectiles - What Goes Up Comes Back Down
We have already worked with constant velocity motion and accelerated motion with cars
or some other moving object and falling objects traveling in straight line motion. Now,
let us move forward into moving up and down relative to the ground by projecting an object
such as a ball. By changing variables such as the angle of toss, the amount of air
resistance and the initial velocity of the throw, we can vary the maximum height of the
toss and the horizontal range of the toss.
You will be learning this new idea by first taking a pre-quiz, then playing a game, and finally, finishing with a post-test. You will send your results to me so that I can see how well you did. In class, you will be taking a similar quiz for credit. Practice as much as you want here!
