My Mission Statement
My mission is to set high expectations and to motivate my students to achieve them. I will give 100% of myself everyday while educating, respecting, and caring for each individual student. My mission is to create an environment conducive to learning in order to empower my students to reach their full potential. I will keep my students engaged by varying my teaching methods and researching new techniques. I will use self-reflection to revise and create the most dynamic lessons possible. Any changes made to classroom procedures, structure, or material, will be made in the students’ best interest. In my classroom, students will grow academically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. My students will not just become life-long learners but also well-rounded, active citizens.
Mathematics Department Mission
The NOHS Math Department is committed to meeting the cross-curricular needs of all students focusing on the facilitation of independent thinking and problem solving skills so that they may be successful in their present and future endeavors.
