Notes from Mrs. Caso:

The midterm exam is comprehensive covering the entire first semester of Pre-Algebra. A review packet will be provided which will mirror the exam. In other words, the review packet will be the exam with slight wording and number changes. The types and content of the problems will be the same for each problem on the review and exam.

For Example:
Review Question 1:
2.059 - 1.46 = ?
Exam Question 1:
3.598 - 2.43 = ?

The Answer Packet can be accessed here since we don't have school today (1/15/09). The answers are in a PDF file, so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to see the contents. The best way to prepare for the exam is to do all the review problems first. Then check your answers using the review answers. If you miss some problems, focus on learning those problems by trying them again without looking at the answers. Write out the missed problems on a separate sheet and try them again. Keep doing this until you get all of the problems correct and remember how to do them.
