The Condor Who Fell in Love is a myth about a lonely condor who, while watching the day’s events falls in love with a Quichua girl. Her parents want her to stay with them, but the condor takes her to his nest above the village.

The author includes a glossary of useful terms at the beginning of the book where children can learn about images and symbols significant to the Quichua people and relevant to the story.
