• NUTRITION CAFE Games are the main means of instruction on this web site. Students can play to learn about nutrients found in foods, answer questions about different types of foods and body building, and find out how to design healthy meals and snacks.

• BODIES IN MOTION MINDS AT REST This ThinkQuest site has basic information about diet and exercise, attitude, and other issues that teens should think about.

• THE FOOD GUIDE PYRAMID This site is the online version of the food pyramid. It provides guidelines to healthy eating habits.

• SCHOOLMENU Another online representation of the food pyramid, this site also provides puzzles and games for students as well as tips on healthy eating.

• FOR KIDS, TEENS AND EDUCATORS The U.S. Department of Food and Drug Administration Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition Web site can help teach your students about how to handle food safely.

• FAST FOOD FACTS This site lists the sandwiches from different fast food restaurants in order of the number of calories they contain. You can look up information on various fast food menu items and this site will tell you how many grams of fat, calories, cholesterol, etc.
