Senior Class of 2008 College Choice

This survey was created to discover if there is an equal distribution of colleges that the North Olmsted High School Senior Class of 2008 chose to attend in the fall of 2008.
Our sample was drawn form the entire senior class of 2008 at North Olmsted High School.  We chose 50 senior students through a random number generator on MinTab.  Only 37 surveys were returned to us.
         Our background research gave us
information to help students choose the college best for them.  We realized that the college the students choose are not there dream school but it is the college that fits them best.  Our research also found different factors that played into students choosing their college.
          In conclusion,
we used the Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit test that shows there is not an equal distribution between the colleges that the North Olmsted High School Class of 2008 chose to attend in the fall of 2008. The Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit test shows that the colleges we chose to list on our survey were not the most popular colleges like we had thought.
