My study is based upon different types of video games and grades. I researched about this study and came up with many topics related to video games with, either the decrease or increase of intelligence. I came up with my study question, "Do Certain Types of Video Games Raise or Lower Intelligence/GPA" . I then made a survey based on a random sample of students from NOHS, from a name generator. Then I came up with my survey. Asking questions like, how often do they play, what type of video games do they play and of course what is their cumulative GPA. I ended up sending out 200 surveys for the students.                                                                                         

      Our background information concerns the world of video games with intelligence. Our background information gave me a lot of ideas and new concepts of why video games could raise a person intelligence level and also reasons why it could do the opposite. The background information helped develop theories and possibilities in my study.

       The data was collected randomly in the form of a study and was sent out randomly to 200 students in North Olmsted high school. The study came back and I put the information in minitab and ran some tests  

     I put the data in and ran a chi squared test along with some descriptive statistics of my data. I also included some graphs to better show the information given.
