Notes from Mrs. Caso
Make sure you write out the original problem for the homework exercises unless it's a word problem. Answers without the original problem or showing no work are unacceptable and you'll lose credit. For exercises that you can do in your head or with a calculator I expect to see at least the original problem and its answer.
Reflections Prompts
- 1.3 - What careers might use the concepts we've covered in the last week and how might they use them?
- 1.4 - Some equations can have more than one solution. List at least 2 equations that can have all possible numbers as solutions (any number is a solution). You may NOT use my example. Ex: x + x = 2x
- 1.5 - How do you feel about word problems
